There are now many ways that you can order your repeat prescriptions. We recommend using either:

These are safe, quick and efficient ways to order your medication. There are also many other benefits to using the NHS App or Patient Access (such as viewing parts of your medical record and changing your pharmacy nomination). You will need to create an account to use either of these services, please see our NHS App and Patient Access information page to find out more and how to create your account.

If you do not wish to use either of these options, or are unable to do so, we also accept repeat prescription requests via:

  • In person at the surgery
  • A letter/note or prescription slip
  • Email at somccg.enquiries.lyngfordpark@nhs.net 
  • Over the telephone – in usual circumstances we do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone due to safety reasons, but during the Coronavirus pandemic we have temporarily suspended this to limit the reasons patients will need to visit the surgery.

Please remember to order your repeat prescriptions in enough time for the request to be processed and your chosen pharmacy to dispense them.


Electronic Prescription Service

We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.
