The children & young people (CYP) mental health team are working on a programme called Somerset Big Tent, which is aims to improve the access into mental health and emotional wellbeing services for children and young people in Somerset. Somerset Suicide Bereavement Support Service

The Somerset Suicide Bereavement Support Service have a number of ways for anyone who has been bereaved or affected by suicide (personally or professionally) to access support in August. 

Taunton Evening Peer Group - this session will be held on Thursday 02nd September from 7pm-8:30pm at Mind in Somerset, 44 Station Road, Taunton, TA1 1NS.

Please let the service know if you wish to attend so they are aware of likely numbers.

The Outreach Surgeries have a limited number of pre-booked 30 minute 1-2-1 support sessions, and a facilitated peer group session. They are at:

  • Bridgwater - Monday 13th September 11am to 3pm (Peer Group 1pm to 2:30pm) at St Mary's Church, St Mary Street, Bridgwater, TA6 3EQ
  • Yeovil - Wednesday 29th September 11am to 3pm (Peer Group 1pm to 2:30pm) at Mind in Somerset - Yeovil Office, Yeovil Foyer, Peter Street, Yeovil, BA21 1PN

Please email bereaved@mindinsomerset.org.uk no later than Thursday 09th September for Bridgwater or Monday 20th September for Yeovil if you would like to book a 1-2-1 session.
