• COVID VACCINATIONS: Please do NOT call or turn up at the surgery or the local hospital to enquire about COVID vaccinations. We know that patients and all health and social care staff are eager to find out when they will receive their COVID vaccination. The NHS is prioritising vaccinating those people who experts have agreed will benefit from it the most and we are systemically working through all the eligible groups according to the national priorities. Please be assured that we will contact you directly, when it is your turn to book your vaccination and we will answer all your questions at your appointment. Health and care teams across Somerset are working exceptionally hard to roll out our local vaccination programme in Somerset in line with the JCVI's prioritisation and we are continuing to vaccinate people aged 80 and over, care home residents and staff, as well as widening out the offer to frontline health and social care staff.   • Over 50's flu vaccinations: We are now able to offer flu vaccinations to patients aged 50-64 years. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we strongly recommend you take this opportunity to vaccinate yourself against seasonal influenza. Patient Access

You can now book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online. Next time you're at the surgery, please ask one of our receptionists for a log in and password for Patient Access. You will need a form of photo ID - like a passport or driving licence. Once you have your log in details, you can create a Patient Access account, allowing you to book appointments and order medication online.  See our Emis Access User Guide for further information

Engage Consult

You can send a non-urgent medical or admin query to a member of our team using Engage Consult. Your query can be sent to any one of our GPs, clinical pharmacist, nursing team, medical secretary, IT/technical or reception. You can book an appointment online or by telephone.


Online bookings

You can book appointments online 24 hours a day by joining the EMIS Access Service, ask a member of our Reception Team who will be happy to explain it to you. See our EMIS Access User Guide for further information


Telephone bookings

To make an appointment by telephone, please ring our Reception Team on                 01823 333355


Our telephones are open for appointment bookings:

between 08:30 – 13:00pm and 14:00 – 18:00pm

If your request for an appointment is not urgent for that day, you may find it easier to get through to our Reception Team after 10:00am


Appointments may be booked up to 6 weeks in advance, and we do have some appointments available on the same day for urgent issues.


At the following times, we are available by telephone for emergencies only:

08.00am-08.30am, 13:00-14:00pm, 18:00pm-18:30pm


We also offer appointments up until 20:00 hours one evening a week  These surgeries are for pre-booked appointments only.

Home Visits


If you are too ill to come to the surgery you can request a home visit. It will help us to deal with your enquiry if you can describe your symptoms to the receptionist. If possible please try to ring first thing in the morning or as early as possible on the day.
