Newly Pregnant

If you have just found out you are pregnant, you do not need to see a GP unless you have specific concerns you would like to discuss. You can book straight in to see our midwife, Nikala Jones, who works at the surgery every Wednesday. To do this, please visit the NHS Somerset Website by clicking the following link: NHS Somerset Materntiy Booking Form. You need to fill out the online Maternity Booking Form and the maternity department will then contact you to arrange your first midwife appointment at the surgery.

The more you know about your pregnancy and your options, the more you are likely to feel in control. The information given here is based on The Pregnancy Book, which your midwife should give you at your first appointment.
